What you'll need:
Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate.
- Candidates with a management qualification will receive preference.
- At least 5 years mechanical and managerial experience.
- Candidates with concurrent experience in JD Equipment and management will receive preference.

What you'll be doing:
Responsibilities:
* Ensure strategic financial management and administration:
- Create and manage the annual service department budget by considering relevant factors.
- Monitor expenses and revenue streams, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Collaborate with the finance department to track and report on service department financial performance.
* Responsible for market research and marketing:
- Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to agri-mechanisation, construction, and mining products.
- Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training programs to enhance knowledge and stay abreast of best practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safety culture within the service department.
* Ensure strategic customer relationships:
- Implement processes for handling customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with technicians and field service personnel to schedule repairs, maintenance, and inspections in a timely manner.
- Monitor service response times and implement strategies to improve efficiency and meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, dealers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct regular meetings and communication channels to address concerns, gather feedback, and enhance collaboration.
- Represent the company in industry associations, trade shows, and customer events to build the company reputation and network.
* Manage operational business processes.
* Responsible for market establishment and growth:
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and ensure service offerings align with sales initiatives.
- Coordinate with the operations department to optimize service delivery processes and resource allocation.
- Provide technical expertise and support to other teams, such as product development or marketing, for new product launches or updates.
* Employee management.
