Manager: Training and Talent

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

* 3 Years’ relevant experience (Candidates with managerial experience will receive preference)
* Registered Industrial Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
- General knowledge on the following:
* HPCSA guidelines
* SAQA and SETA regulations

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

* Responsible for updating and implementing the talent and training strategy in line with the HR Departmental strategy
* Ensure the training strategy is aligned to the legal requirements
* Responsible for drafting and updating all training and talent policies and procedures
* Talent attraction and retention
* Responsible for facilitating the change process when HR Operations is designing or creating architecture regarding departmental organograms and jobs
* Responsible to ensure that all jobs are adjusted and updated in line with succession plans within the organisation
* Design and create innovative continuous improvement initiatives for all grading and profiling processes and systems
* Responsible for the entire assessment strategy and policy within the Senwes Group of companies
* Manage the relationship with assessment service provider
* Responsible for critical internal and external talent pools
* Responsible for the development of ongoing individual development plans for all scarce and critical skills to ensure future bench strength and employee development
* Responsible for career paths to ensure identified employees can move between roles at a leadership, professional and operational level
* Implement and maintain processes and strategies to effectively identify and address skills needs at all levels
* Responsible to implementing talent and training systems in the organisation to enable more efficient and integrated management of data
* Oversee capturing of all talent and training information on HR database and extraction of training reports for monthly and annual purposes
* Oversee preparation and extraction of training statistics for specialised reports
* Supervise employees conducting the IOP internship with HPCSA
