WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

* Applicable B-degree in Human Resources or Business Administration * Proven experience as HR Generalist * Good knowledge of employment/labour laws * Understanding of general HR policies and procedures * Outstanding knowledge of MS Office * HRIS systems (e.g. VIP) will be advantageous * Excellent understanding of HR best practice and ability to apply this to employee relations cases

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

* The HR Business Partner is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units * Workforce Planning * Assist in the development and compilation of a labour budget for different business units based on specific assumptions (branch/ silo/ workshop classification, turnover). * Propose and implement changes necessary to cover workforce risks to company * Assist line managers with the compliance of EE/BEE targets * Employee Life Cycle * Advise line management and employees on labour legislative matters, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the labour expert colleagues as needed/required * Assist management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention * Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions, and demotions) * Perform general HR administration and employee movement administration
